Denise A. Assogna, DDS
Dr. Denise A. Assogna established her endodontic practice in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1992. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers) where she completed a two-year specialty training program in endodontics. Dr. Assogna attended the four year program at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where she earned her D.D.S. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Philosophy from Fordham University.
Dr. Assogna’s teaching experience includes: Clinical Instructor at the Endodontic Program at SUNY Stony Brook, undergraduate & post graduate Clinical Instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine from 2002-2012. Dr. Assogna also served as Director of the endodontic curriculum and Clinical Instructor at Castle Point VA. She served for several years as Secretary of the Dutchess County Dental Society. Dr. Assogna completes many hours of continuing education annually which illustrates her commitment to keeping up to date with the latest technology and techniques to ensure the best possible care is delivered to her patients.
Dr. Assogna supports many local charitable foundations and donates several scholarships to undergraduate and post graduate students and has been voted Top Endodontist every year since 2008. Dr. Assogna is a member of the ADA, AAE (American Association of Endodontics), The NYSDA (New York State Dental Association), the 9th District Dental Society and the Dutchess County Dental Society.
